Abby Walker
Trainer
Abby is a dedicated and passionate personal trainer from Fergus Falls, MN. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from MSUM and has been actively involved in sports throughout her life. She played Division II soccer for the Dragons at MSUM and spent her high school career playing both soccer and fastpitch softball. Abby has coached soccer, baseball, and softball. She specializes in training youth athletes, from elementary to high school, and enjoys working with her general population clients as well.
Despite facing multiple knee injuries and surgeries, Abby has persevered in her passion for fitness, becoming a trainer and business owner. She found her inspiration and calling during her high school years while spending countless hours in the gym working with her own trainer. The most inspiring part of her job is impacting the athletes and clients she trains by being a bright light in their day. The relationships she develops with her clientele is what makes her job rewarding.
For Abby, success is being able to do something she loves as a job. She believes in making the world a better place by inspiring others to be the best version of themselves. Driven, visionary, and motivator are three words that best describe her. Abby lives by the advice, “hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.” If she could tell her 13-year-old self something, it would be to work hard and have confidence in who you are.
Abby’s training philosophy is training with a purpose. She doesn’t believe in just “working out,” but in training, whether that is training for daily life, an event, or to be the healthiest version of yourself. If you are an athlete, weekend warrior, or motivated adult she believes in setting goals and reaching them. Training programs should not be one-size-fits-all, but individualized for each client’s unique needs.
Abby is happiest when she is in the gym and helping her clients achieve their goals. When she is not training, she enjoys spending time with family, cheering for her kids at sporting events, and running.
