Annie Krieg

Trainer

From Moorhead, MN, Annie combines her passion for sports, her love of mentoring athletes, and her dedication to strength and conditioning into every training session. A former multi-sport athlete, she competed in hockey, soccer, and lacrosse—playing both hockey and soccer from elementary school through her senior year of high school. These experiences gave her firsthand knowledge of what athletes need both physically and mentally to succeed.

Annie is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at MSUM, with minors in Business, Strength & Conditioning, and Sports Medicine. She is certified in First Aid/CPR and is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. She has already gained valuable coaching experience as an assistant coach for the MYHA 10uB girls’ hockey team during the 2024–2025 season.

Her training philosophy is built around mastering movements, gradually increasing intensity, and emphasizing injury prevention. Annie’s goal is to help athletes not only become stronger and faster, but also to move well and stay pain-free. She believes training is about more than building performance; it’s about equipping athletes with the knowledge and confidence to carry those skills forward into their own training journey.

For Annie, the most inspiring part of her work is witnessing the “lightbulb moment”—when an athlete suddenly connects the purpose behind an exercise and starts to grow both physically and mentally. She defines success as making any part of your life better than it was before. Whether in sport, school, spiritually, mentally, or physically.

Passionate, supportive, and organized, Annie lives by the wisdom that “easy does not equal good, and hard does not equal bad.” She has learned to give 100% effort in all she does, knowing that growth comes through challenge.
